DESCRIPTION:The chili cook-off is open to all chefs\, young or old\, amateur or professional. Contestants must pre-register in order to enter the competition. This is the perfect opportunity to cook your chili in a FUN environment all for a great cause!!! Registration is ONLY $25.00. Some of the day?s actives planned include: music and live remove with WYNK\, 101.5 radio station\, craft beer tasting with Brasseurs a la Maison home brewing club and a classic car show sponsored by Superior Ford. Celebrity judges include local television anchors\, chili experts and local politicians. Patrons will enjoy chili\, music and FUN!!! This event is being promoted to the entire region with radio spots on WYNK\, 101.5\, (currently playing)\, TV appearances\, print advertisements\, social media and email blasts. All proceeds benefit the Lane RMC Foundation's projects such as new cancer treatment services on Lane's campus in the Radiation Oncology Center. TEAM registration packets can be download at www.lanermcfoundation.com. The more cooking teams we have\, the more successful this event will be.
