Enjoy chili and a new category this year---Salsa prepared by teams from all across the region. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome to enjoy live music featuring The Gillis Silo\, on the grassy lawn of The Pointe. Refreshments\, souvenir t-shirts\, cold beverages\, hot dogs and baked goods will be sold throughout the day. No ENTRY or parking fees. A $10.00 band will give you the opportunity to taste all of the chili competition entries. Entry fee is $25 for chili cooking teams. Two divisions based upon the age of the Head Cook on day of event: Adult (18 and older) and YOUTH (17 and younger). The Code Red Chili Cook-off is an annual fundraiser for the Lane Regional Medical Center Foundation. As a nonprofit\, the Foundation relies upon events such as this to raise funds to support Lane Regional Medical Center in providing the very best healthcare to everyone that enter's its doors.
