Scott\, the president and founder of Loren C. Scott & Associates\, Inc.\, as a guest speaker to provide his 2012/2013 economic forecast. Dr. Scott is an energy specialist for the National Business Economic Issues Council\, Professor Emeritus of Economics at LSU\, and is the co-developer of the Louisiana econometric model which is used for annual forecasts of the Louisiana economy. As an added treat\, the banquet will also feature a guest emcee\, Mr. Gordy Rush. Rush is affiliated with Guaranty Broadcasting and will be providing some color commentary throughout the evening.\n\n \n\nA new addition to the annual banquet is a $10\,000 cash raffle in which proceeds will go towards daily operations of the chamber and charitable organizations throughout the community. Only 1\,000 tickets are available and members will have the opportunity to raise money for their favorite local charity or school group. Raffle tickets are $100 each. As an added bonus\, the chamber will donate 20% of sales\, after prizes\, to the Zachary Community Food Pantry and the American Heart Association.   Tickets are on sale now at the Zachary Chamber of Commerce office.
