Join us for our July meeting which will feature Julie Laperouse of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber and Screaming Peacock, LLC.  Julie's two professional hats will collide in this discussion about ways that BRAC can help you connect better in the community as well as a few networking tips from her Screaming Peacock networking workshop "Build Your Party!"
You'll learn about BRAC's database where your out-of-state friends and family can send their resumes to try to get jobs back home, and how you can use this in your business to recruit talented professionals to your organization when you can't find them locally.  You'll also get a sneak peek of a new website BRAC is creating to help any resident – old or new – find resources like school information and area events to help them get more involved in the community.  
The Screaming Peacock will also be sharing some tips to boost the return on your investment in networking through small changes like purposefully attending networking events and using your business cards to your advantage!
There will even be some of fun local trivia and area prizes! We hope you can make it!
