Zachary Plainsman Day
In a resolution dated July 12, 2011, the Zachary Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors recognizes December 3, 2011 as "Zachary Plainsman Day" in congratulations for the state-wide honor they received this year as they were named "2010 Newspaper of the Year". The Plainsman has been a local newspaper since December 3, 1953. Congratulations Zachary Plainsman!
