EFCU Financial, a dynamic credit union with over 90-years history of solid growth and stability in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking an experienced and service-oriented team player to join our team as a Vice President of Marketing & Community Impact. 
 
In our service-focused organization, our Vice President of Marketing & Community Impact manages the credit union’s marketing initiatives and financial literacy efforts. This team member will cultivate new and maintain existing relationships with community partners, civic partners, university sponsorship partners, and members. This individual will represent the credit union at community, civic, and university partner events. The Vice President of Marketing & Community Impact will work with all team members to foster a positive public relations image in our service area, with the goal to result in new accounts for the credit union.
 
Critical Knowledge, Skills and Educational Requirements:
 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Marketing, or

• Minimum of five to eight years of similar or related experience.
• Prior experience managing people, preferred.

• Ability to exercise good judgment, initiative, and tact in dealing with the community, members, team leaders, and team members. 
• Excellent, accurate writing skills stressing creativity, composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.
• Capacity to manage many responsibilities simultaneously.
• Flexibility to deal with unexpected events and occasionally attend meetings and events that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours.
• Working knowledge of credit union operations, procedures, products, and philosophy.
• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Proficient in use of personal computers, particularly word-processing and spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel and desktop publishing software such as Publisher and Acrobat.
