About Us:

We are a locally-owned travel agency based in Zachary, LA, seeking a part-time Client Services Coordinator to join our dedicated team. Hours are 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Thursday, weekly with a 30-min lunch break. This role works closely with the Office Manager and is focused on administrative support and requires prior experience in a similar position. No travel industry experience is necessary but is a benefit. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones with a friendly, professional demeanor

  • Handle general email and phone inquiries and direct them to appropriate staff members

  • Update and maintain client database

  • Assist clients with reservations, bookings, and payments

  • Facilitate the sale, purchase and follow-up of travel insurance premiums and claims

  • Create and send balance notices

  • Assist staff with other projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

  • Typing speed of 50+ words per minute

  • Strong knowledge of and ability to use online websites, apps, and software

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines

  • Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role a must

  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude

Pay: Based on experience; starting pay range from $15 to $18 an hour
